The short version

We collect what the product needs to work and nothing more. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not track you around the web.

What we store

  • Your account: your email address, a display name if you set one, and your password in hashed form. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email from Google instead of a password.
  • Your content: the decks you build, decks copied to you through sharing, and the game nights you save (team names, scores, dates, notes).

Players at a show

People who join a game with a room code do not create accounts. Their team names, answers, bids, and votes travel over a live connection to run the show and are not written to our database. The host's screen keeps the night's scores in that browser, and only what the host chooses to save (final team names and scores) is stored, in the host's account.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie on show screens so a host link keeps working without its key sitting in the address bar. No advertising or cross-site cookies.

Analytics and errors

We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregate page counts; it does not use cookies or identify you. When something breaks, an error report (what went wrong, which page, which browser type) is logged so we can fix it.

Who else touches the data

Quizzicos runs on Supabase (database and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting). Your data lives on their infrastructure under their security controls, and no one else gets it.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your decks and saved games any time, and you can change your display name. If you want your whole account deleted, contact us and we will erase it and everything in it.
